Like GAP Plan, GAP Plus is tailor-made to protect your outstanding finance commitment should your car be written off. We think it is the ultimate in peace of mind protection. Going a significant step further than GAP Plan, GAP Plus will pay you the difference between the amount your insurers pay out and the original Invoice Price of your car, up to a maximum of £15,000. The figure your Motor Insurers offer will be based on current market value; the car’s realistic sales price at the time of your claim. Naturally this will be less than the amount you paid for it brand new, especially if you’ve had the car for a while. GAP Plus protects you from this substantial shortfall and makes sure that when you replace your car you’ll have the price you paid for it in your pocket. You won’t have to shoulder the difference. This is why GAP Plus is known as a Return to Invoice policy. GAP Plus is also available to you if you paid for your car with cash.*
